Depends how you go about fixing your problems.
eg: An oil change is an oil change unless you bring it back to your dealer who charges you 10x more than a local garage.
The only place where you would be correct is services. I'm not sure how much say a Mazda is to service, but we just brought in my mom's GLK (Merc) and it cost $400. I'd assume a service on any car would be atleast $100 though.

That's not what I'm talking about. You're reffering to tune ups, I'm reffering to problems, anything that requires parts. That all is extremely expensive.
