I just find it silly to complain that people are using words or abbreviations you don't know when it's 2 seconds away :P

But seriously, nobody should be taking ANY type of PED unless they've been lifting/working out for years and fully understand the risks associated with them. People have been pretty fucked up from taking bad batches or doing bad cycles, and they arent just some 'magic' drug that all of a sudden gives you the body you want. I've read a lot about different cycles, mainly because it interests me and lots of guys have cycled before and saw shitty results. I've been lifting for ~3 years now, and my personal weight loss journey started ~4 years ago. I never have and likely never will take anything because I dont think it is worth the potential risk for something that is a hobby of mine. I wouldn't recommend that you take anything Subzer0. If you really want to win, make sure your diet is tight for the next month. Cut down the calories maybe 100-200 more per day. Becoming reliant on quick fix to help you reach your goals isn't going to help you in the long run. It'll either cause you to cycle more frequently which can be dangerous or quit all together.

Just my thoughts, your life - good luck.

Creatine, protein powder, pre-work out or anything you get over the counter isnt a PED. Those are fine, they are regulated and there have been tests for the safety of the products. I'm talking illegal PEDs.

Tested for safety and actually safe are two different things. Always educate yourself before taking any of that shit.

You're 100% right, it's definitely worth doing some research into what you're putting into your body. I dont agree with using pre-workouts personally, but we were arguing more about PEDs versus over the counter stuff. Personally I find that PWO gives me a weird headache and makes me feel spacey. These supplements can be dangerous not only because you dont know the effects but also because fitness supplements arent tested by the FDA regularly (unless there are complaints against the company).

Generally speaking however, if you're ordering from a well-known brand, you're getting what the label says. But there was a study done on Reddit where they took various protein powders and tested them. The majority of the results were as you expected, 70%+ of the claimed protein value was what was in the sample. There was one IIRC that was right around 20%, which was pretty shocking. Googled it and here it is: https://www.reddit.com/comments/uva9t/big_reddit_protein_powder_measurement_results

I pretty much just stick to protein powder and only on days when I feel my protein intake from actual food has been lacking.

Ehhhh I still say research everything. I had a bad experience with Hydroxicut back in high school where the skin on my entire chin got all fucked up. It was a "known side-effect" that wasn't on the label at the time. There are products out there that HAVEN'T been approved by the FDA or canadian equivalent, remember.
5 minutes (or 20 if you're not that good) on google to get a basic understanding of the product will do you WONDERS.
