It blows my mind that anyone thinks it’s a real, or good, idea. That’s an enormous border, and any wall is beaten by a $10 ladder. It’s just a pander to idiots and racists, but it really works for that purpose, which is sad. Trump and Republicans had all the power in the world the last 2 years, and they did nothing, because they have more influence if these problems are never solved. If they fix it, or even try, they lose the ability to complain and point the blame at someone. They only get elected on anger, and actually trying to fix the border would diminish their effectiveness next election.
