That looks like blatant intent to injure. Should be no place for that kind of behaviour. Department of player safety has zero consistency though, so it is anyones guess what happens when an incident like this occurs.
Panarin went after Wilson, who is much bigger/stronger so the outcome of him getting ragdolled comes as no surprise.
It shows poorly for the Rangers that Panarin, who is 170 pounds on a good day is among the elite players in the league is the one defending him teammate first.
Panarin should have been the last guy on the ice to take on that battle. I give him credit for having the guts to go after someone much bigger in an attempt to stick up for a teamate.
Wilson manhandling Panarin is not suspension worthy imo.
