if you dont know how to put it together and are willing to spend a bit extra for that there is places you can custom build a gaming pc they put it together and ship it
probably costs about the same as a prebuilt but has customization like ssd/hd sizes which gpus cpus sometimes cases fans/liquid cooled ect ect the works

off the top of my head i know ibuypower does it but there is other sites asus might do it for their ROG pcs

ncix is long gone, they went bankrupt and auctioned away everything, including 20+ years worth of private customer data

Glad i lost my cc since then i guess lol

Newegg does similar though i think or you can order them all and find a little shop o do it.

I built mine myself, it was pretty easy really had a little trouble with my ram but it was just because of the design of the sticks.

One thing ill say is dont cheap out on your case, i did on mine and regret it.

How much to build one though. Ordering all parts. Would spending 12-1500 on a pre built one just save me headache?!

The problem with prebuilts is not natter how much you spend they always seem to use a couple budget parts.
a good GPU by a manufacturer who puts a crappy fan on it or a case with terrible air flow.

I bought my grandfather a prebuilt for Christmas a few years ago its great for his uses but for gaming im not inclined personally

Yeah with that budget, you definitely wanna build your own. If anything, buy all parts, take it to local shop and ask them to build it. Although building Ur own computer isn't hard, it's literally legos

No because youre spending enough to get over all good rig... Pre builts gonna have at least 1 low quality part no matter how much you spend... Like an outdated cooling system or no SSD or the processor/ gfx card is gay...
