Nope , league officiating/ disciplinary is so out of tune with logic / reality that it actively contributes to plays like this.

Best thing would be for all the stars to just sit out the start of next season to send a message.

it's pure joke man,

like Edler was playing way too much minutes because of injury/short of dmen,
he made a bad play by kneeing, he got suspended 2 games which is fair since it's still reckless.
Then he also had to answer the bell when simmonds went after him, 1k games with 0 fights going against simmonds with ton of fights in his career
refs dont even call instigator on simmonds for that either, when the other day hamonic was called for it for backing up his teammate by the exact same ref.
wilson literally sucker punches a player down on the ice, behind his head/neck. Slams panarin down on the ice, resulting injury etc. completely for no reason other than being a dick.
