if seguin actually turns out to be a 80-100p center (which i think he can, especially with nichushkin and benn, wtf is that line...) it's a great deal for dallas, if he ends up like that

Heard Seguin will be going back to center, and Benn plays center now mostly. Good 1/2 punch but IMO Eriksson is extremely underrated and can put up 35+35=70 with good, consistent line-mates.


Seguin has a higher potential ceiling but who knows if he'll ever hit it, and there are the obvious character issues. Add in the two decent prospects and I give Boston the edge here.

seguin is very very good though, but being in a facist system is b4d for him

The Bruins failed Seguin. Though Eriksson is a solid player, I would take Seguin and his talents any day with the way the Bruins are built right now. They need someone that can just explode offensively and they don't have that.

Feel bad for Seguin and Peverley though. Have to go play in Dallas LOL. Would rather kill myself than move to anywhere in Texas.

Hope Seguin scores 50 next season just to spite us.

dallas is a great up and coming team, he'll be the 1C, he'll also be the go to guy and play in a freer role, dont think he liked the very offensively limiting julien system
