At least your loss to Carolina was nowhere near as embarrassing..... We blew 5 goal lead. No big deal.

Still though when your team gets beat solely on a lack of effort it is damn frustrating. They looked damn near unstoppable against Chicago in the outdoor game but can't beat Carolina. It is a weird game at times.

its been this way for us all season though.

and i understand some games youre gonna lose and some games youre not gonna have your A game, but its basically every other game right now for the blues where they just plain look disinterested.

there are so many things wrong with this team right now i dont even know where to begin.

jake allen is simply not getting it done. ive defended the guy in the past and he clearly has the skill to be a top goaltender, so i dont know exactly what the issue is. i just know he isnt doing good enough. he also isnt getting any help from the shit team in front of him.

the defense is too easy to beat. the only one who wins board battles in the zone is parayko. even pietrangelo has lost his aggressiveness defensively. he looks like a right handed bouwmeester out there just shadowing a guy and never getting the puck.
and dont even get me started on shattenkirk. im starting to think the team wont miss him much. yea hes great on the PP, but he does more than enough wrong 5v5 to negate all the positive things on the PP.

and sheesh, forwards......

lehtera straight up sucks. ill leave it at that. steen looks 2 steps slower than he ever has, stastny continues to underwhelm. berglund is hot all the sudden but we all know hell cool off and perron does good things and bad, same with fabbri.

the 4th line is the only positive on this team right now.

letting backes walk was a huge mistake because we lack center depth so badly. its not that they let him walk, but they had no backup plan on how to fill that 2c/3c spot. we were already weak at center and not finding a way to replace his production hurt.

i hope armstrong is on the hot seat. the way hes handled some of the UFA situations recently along with a bunch of trades hes lost just arent getting it done.

the team still has no identity and i know the season is only half over, but there isnt a whole lot to look forward to right now.

25 shots or less at home in each of the last 5 games i think. thats pathetic. no offensive zone time, no cycle, no secondary shots, no one in front of the net

did i miss anything?

Give our 4th line 15+ minutes a game and hope the rest works itself out.

I still don't understand why they traded Oshie for Brower then just let Brower walk in the off season.

I also agree was a big mistake letting Backes walk.

This team is deff better with Oshie/backes and could easily have stayed that way.
