defense has been an issue all year, and with kronner going out alot recently doesn't help, obviously he's no lidstrom, but he's the only vet we got on the blue line besides green, which doesn't seem they use him enough either. Seems blash is focusing on the youth, which I like, but we need some reliable defense. These last 12 games are gonna be brutal to watch

yep its pathetic ..
our defense is very bad. i want our young D up here.
missing the playoffs could be good for us to be honest, maybe we will realize its time to change some stuff and not just be satisfied with round 1 exits in the playoffs

Datsyuk and zetterbeard need a little cocaine to fire up for the rest of the way! :p

Need the big game players to start taking over.
Time for Tatar Nyquist to wake the f up.
Tatar is close often bht Nyquist is invisible.

If you replace all of the Redwings dmen with Chicago's dmen, I guarantee the Redwings forwards would have no problem scoring since they would have support and outlets from the good dmen.

Having a very bad blue line is absolutely screwing up the entire team. We have the goaltending, we have the forwards. We just have a very lousy blue line that cannot contribute.

This

Far too many of our breakout passes are off the mark. Ericsson turns the puck over on the breakout more often than he completes a pass

Smith is far too aggressive. Misses too many pinches and gets caught.

Mike green is playing like his wife is leaving him. No puck confidence, fumbles the puck almost everytime he carries it, emotionally he always looks deflated.

Quincey was a rock last season but has been iffy since being injured

HUGE win tonight for Jimmy and the boys. I was like fuck here we go when they were down 3-1. But they fought back, hopefully they keep this going.

Geeze I wasn't even paying attention to what is going on above us in the standings, been so focused on Philly/Pens.

Wings really only 3 points back of Bruins with a game at hand? Everyone in Atlantic struggling.

Wouldn't mind a Detroit Tampa rematch, if the team can string together a strong final 10 games

So glad Mrazek is healthy again.
Howard played well in that span, but I just like our chances more with Petr.
Plus, this helps out my fantasy team, and daddy needs that $$
