Having a very bad blue line is absolutely screwing up the entire team. We have the goaltending, we have the forwards. We just have a very lousy blue line that cannot contribute.

Far too many of our breakout passes are off the mark. Ericsson turns the puck over on the breakout more often than he completes a pass
Smith is far too aggressive. Misses too many pinches and gets caught.
Mike green is playing like his wife is leaving him. No puck confidence, fumbles the puck almost everytime he carries it, emotionally he always looks deflated.
Quincey was a rock last season but has been iffy since being injured
