Absolutely, Crow is the better of the two. He's won a Stanley Cup and definitely deserved the Conn Smythe in 13, Kane even admitted to Crow getting shafted and wished he could give it to him.

That being said, Darling is slotted to start game 4. Nashville is consistently shooting high on Crawford with great success....unfortunately that's his weakness and he's not making very good adjustments toward that and he's given up 9 goals in 2 games. Game 4 should be an interesting/good one

I like Darling. I think he will make a great Goalie in a couple of years. He's a big guy, but agile. My biggest concern with him in net is he gives up a lot of big rebounds (he did a good job kicking them to the corners last night) and some times is a bit too aggressive coming out of the net.

The D tends to play better when Scotty is in the net. I don't know what the reasoning is. But they don't hang him out to dry like the do with Crow.

Just hypothesizing here, but perhaps they feel more comfortable with Crow in net, so they unconsciously slip up more. With Darling or Raanta, there's a rookie in net, so more pressure to alleviate the stress put on them as they have no proven themselves yet, like Crow has.

This is a definite possibility. I also agree with Vandy saying that Darling gives up a lot of rebounds, thankfully he does a great job of directing them away so they don't become a quick second chance right on the doorstep. Crawford is much better at soaking up shots and not giving up rebounds, there's just something wrong with his head right now and he's second guessing himself too much. He's been going down WAY too early and Nashville is taking full advantage of that by holding the puck until he does, then shooting high. I have no doubt he'll be bounce back soon and we definitely know Q will give him another chance real soon

These playoffs are weird with the musical goaltenders.
