Every pro sports league is terrified of concussions.

They want those hits eliminated completely.

Money is always at the root of the changes.

Now that it has been proven that pro sports leagues understand the ramifications of brain injuries they are under a legal obligation to reduce the number of incidents.

If they don't show that consistently they open themselves up to costly litigation.


Like it or not this is the new game. I am all for protecting the players but it will come at the expense of the game being significantly altered.
