didnt even see him get hurt

great, now we only have 3Cs

I'm hoping the blues trade shattenkirk for a center. It'll suck to see him go but he's gonna walk at the end of the season anyways. Better to get something than nothing.

They can package him with other pieces. Throw picks in. Rattie. I'm not a gm tryna make up trades and stuff but I hope they can do something. If not and they make a run with shattenkirk I wouldn't be overly mad. Armstrong is a smart man and anything he does I trust is the best move for the blues.

yea i dont see us being able to trade for a top 6 center right now. our best bet is hanzal.

there are very few teams with an abundance at center, and if theyre trading for shatty, theyll want pieces to help them win now, not prospects or picks.

and if they want prospects and picks to strengthen their farm, shatty wont be of interest.

and armstrong is ok. hes made some questionable moves so hes on the hot seat this year as much as anyone is.

I sure hope he's not on the hot seat. I personally think he's the reason their team has been so good. I think hitch has been their biggest hindrance over the last few years. For every bad move Armstrong makes I feel like he's got a couple great ones

he makes some good ones and bad ones.

he drafts very well, but his trades, free agent signings, and inability to move a player before we get nothing for him have definitely offset the good.

anyway, pls win blues

god damn it quit giving the point all day to shoot. 90% of our goals against are from wide open point men.

disappointing loss to say the least. another multi goal lead blown in a game where we only played one period well.

jake allen is continually keeping us in games despite the insane amount of scoring chances we give up, but i hear so much shit about how he isnt playing well. the guy is standing on his head.

its time to call out some players who just arent getting it done. one of my favorite blues, alex steen, has been downright terrible for a couple weeks now. he looks slow and undecisive and hes offering about nothing to the team right now. shattenkirk has also been hurting the blues a whole lot more than helping em lately. his 5 on 5 play is below average and hes an issue defensively, and unfortunately were always defending so he isnt helping us. and also, lehtera has been one of our worst players all year. hes holding us back on a nightly basis.

something needs to change here with the coaching. theres no excuse to be blowing leads every night, some multi goal leads, and seeing no change. im losing faith in hitchcock yet again.

great play by philly but the blues have no defensive structure. 4 guys standing around doing nothing.
