I don't underestimate him. I think he's a great player..just not the all around player everyone makes him out to be. He's not a leader, lacks the mental fortitude for that. He's obviously the most skilled player in the league but I just don't think he has the intangibles of a Bergeron, Datsyuk or Toews. If Bergeron scored more points he would be top 3 in the league to most people like he is to me right now.

The guy makes all the little plays that go unnoticed. He's not flashy but he gets the job done as well as anyone. To me he's the #1 player in the league. That's just me though. I don't put as much into points as the NHl or most fans. It's a very overrated stat. Obviously points win games, but much more goes into winning games than just the points.

On potential BOS moves, B's have contract/financial work to do. Bergeron likely to get an 8 yr extension worth $6.5M+/yr.

Not sure what term Rask's new deal will be but I'd count on it being in the $7M/year range. Rask's agent Bill Zito to meet B's this weekend.
