Canadian politicians have a ridiculous amount of power. If we’re ever retarded enough to get a Trump type, we’re boned.

Canadian politics are fucked from the get go. The fact a PM can rule with a majority government which only captured 39% of the vote is ridiculous. Canada is fucked with a drama teacher leader.

The fact that you see Trudeau’s biggest majority government in canadian history as the problem, vs Harper’s strategic bullshit he pulled for nearly a decade, exploiting that system, says a lot.

Another conservative gov to split that right vote is good, now we’ll have 5 parties, and I hope more coalition governments. Still have reform the election system, but I’m jaded that’ll ever happen now.

Fuck outta here with your whataboutism.

Any elected government with a majority government of only 40% vote is a farce. That is a general statement.

better to have a budget than just ask how much

it's like building a computer, there are multiple parts and variations as to how it's put together. Generally based on budget and what fits into your car without custom work.

what head unit do you have? the one that sticks out of the top of the dash? if so I would say it's likely a custom head unit upgrade

speakers are easier, however you may need to modify the baskets or brackets they mount in as aftermarket speakers are typically bigger

there is no easy 1 size fits all 'starter system' but with a little effort you can get set up

if you hand your car to an installation shop be prepared to pay more in labour than what you pay for parts, audio is cheap now but labour isn't

Need to know how much to aim for for the installation fee, then I can kind of decide how much money I can spend on the speakers :P

What you feel is missing currently? Bass?

Not loud enough first and foremost, but yeah of course more bass. I can only put the bass up one level on my stock system, anything more and the sound becomes way too unclear.

So pretty much everything... volume, bass and clarity lol.

Cheapest and easiest way would be to add a subwoofer and drop the car speaker bass to minimum so you dont have distortion keeping the stock unit will reduce the fees by a ton

if you want to change the speakers, you will need a new head unit and on some model you have to bypass the can bus system, passlock etc then add steering wheel module

Theres too many model and such that its almost impossible to give a accurate price on labor, i would simply go to your local tuning shop and ask for information

Anyone into comics?
I read marvel/ spawn here and there..

Just finished up this story:
" Old man Logan "

---

Old Man Logan is set in another universe, Logan eventually tells the story as to why he doesnt kill anymore...
an unreal turn of events, I've never cried over a comic before... Novel? yes a few times..

but this story hit me hard in the feels men.

--

SPOILER

Basically Mysterio casts an illusion on Logan that tricks him into thinking he's fighting the villains and he ends up wiping out the x-men... even kills The Hulk!?!? After which while killing the last guy, Mysterio dis-spells the illusion... psychologically defeating Logan when he comes to that realization.

I actually like that you can get a majority in Parliament without needing a majority of the votes, it makes it way easier to get governments to carry out their mandates and everyone gets to judge whether they approve their policies or not. The difference a few % also deters extremists from forming parties, lest they enable a party from the other end of the spectrum to win. Having a bazillion checks and balances like the US has led to two parties having complete domination over politics at all jurisdictions, power instruments and bureaucracies; their party machines control the country at any point in time. Then many proportional representation countries have struggled with forming governments, ruling on a day-to-day basis and containing extremists.

imo
