I dont get how he makes the team... he's been invisible. Obvious he's not ready.

I don't see where he'd slot into the lineup other than 4th line wing. I guess they could just give him that little bit of experience if they felt it was a good idea. It wouldn't really be detrimental to his development if it's only for 9 games.

As for Shinkaruk, he'll definitely get a look in the top-6 forward group but I doubt he'll show special right now to convince them to burn a year on his contract.

This is what Sportsnet thinks the line-up will be to start the season. Not sure if this is just a guess or it's an indication based on practice:


Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Shinkaruk - Santorelli - Booth
Higgins - Kesler - Hansen
Richardson - Horvat - Weise


Obviously our 3rd line is better than our 2nd line but I just put it that way for the sake of line identities/roles. IMO these are great combinations
