I used and bought from crutchfield and did all myself with little to no experience. Changed the whole console front since I wanted a double din + changed all the speakers. Just checked some youtube videos, once I was in my car with the console open I was asking myself what the fuck I was doing and regret everything, but did it all and put it back in and all works fine

can save big time doing it yourself, but if you don't mind spending extra then just get it done but it's not rocket science

what head unit do you have? the one that sticks out of the top of the dash? if so I would say it's likely a custom head unit upgrade

speakers are easier, however you may need to modify the baskets or brackets they mount in as aftermarket speakers are typically bigger

there is no easy 1 size fits all 'starter system' but with a little effort you can get set up


if you hand your car to an installation shop be prepared to pay more in labour than what you pay for parts, audio is cheap now but labour isn't
