Ehh. I think with climate change and freeing up ice and allowing trees to grow higher on mountains has enabled more tree growth than what we’re losing. According to the FAO from 1990 - 2015 we have lost 1.2 million square kilometres of forest. But this new study says the world has actually gained 2.24million sq km from 1982 until now

The new findings actually contradict the old ones.
