Kronwall will miss 2-4 weeks after having his knee scoped.
Kronwall had his knee scoped on Tuesday and will miss at least the next two weeks or four games as a result. Kronwall’s injury is a huge blow for the Red Wings blueline, but it will give young defenseman Alexei Marchenko a chance to get back into the lineup.

Hopefully it'll make blas realize that marchenko needs to be in the lineup

Everything happens for a reason

Kronwall was having a pretty mediocre season... and was similar last season. I mean, 2nd worst +/- on the team and his point totals are really dipping off the charts recently. He's a leader, a veteran, good for a big hit every few games, but this isn't awful for the team. Gives Marchenko an opportunity to get Smith out of the line-up lol.

Hope for a quick recovery, though.
