Sid the kid didn't show me anything other than some fancy skating. Not even an assist.

I remember watching every playoff game between the Stars and Blues last year. It was one of the most epic playoffs series I've seen in ages. I couldn't remember a playoff series that I had enjoyed more except for maybe the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals when Mike Modano and Brett Hull (probably my two favorite NHL players of all time) won that OT thriller at Buffalo against a legendary goalie like Hasek. The Blues took it in 7 games, 2-1 in 2 OTs, but the Stars had some amazing chances to knock out the eventual Stanley Cup champions last year. In fact, I felt like the Stars were better than the Blues but they came up short.

TL:DR - I don't know what's good anymore. I love hockey. I've fallen in love with it. It's going to replace baseball for me if Houston lands a team.


It is a great sport to watch. I like it more than any other sports because you get more overall action when you sit down to watch for a couple hours.

The small details within the game take a new meaning once you understand the matchups better. I like watching the faceoffs, which is a real art and defensive plays get me just as excited as nice goals.

It is just a VERY tough sport to be on lol. I have not had much luck either.

That is what turned me off on Basketball completely. You have collusion going on between the elite players who come up with a plan to join one (or a small group) of teams to stack the odds.

Then you end up with boring 1st round playoff matches because they often end in landslides and you just stick around waiting for the finals in which two pre-planned stacked teams battle it out.

That is how I saw Basketball so I gave up on it. Maybe it has changed now.

I love hockey a lot. I'm starting to love it more than Major League Baseball.
Of course, when the Houston Astros cheated they left a big stain on my heart.

If Houston can land an NHL team I'll rally behind them and try to attend some home games.
It's hard for me to travel to Dallas or even Arizona to watch the Stars and Coyotes play live

I want to be able to attend some NHL games in person. That would be the ultimate dream!

I've been watching some of the Stars vs. Rangers game on channel 37. They air most of the Dallas Stars games in Houston.

Gosh. 2-0 Rangers over the Stars on the Stars home ice. Wake up, Stars! They just blew a 3-on-1 fastbreak. Wow!

I wish the Nintendo Switch had an NHL game. I'd be playing it a few hours a day.

damn sucks to lose but at least its to the team leading the league in points
9-0 streaks not too bad but 10 woulda been extra nice to top it off with a win over the bruins

flyers still played pretty good though i think rask was the difference tonight guy was a wall


got hart+rask on my fantasy team ^^ thats going to be some nice stats
