Coach Alain Vigneault said that once Lundqvist was cleared, he'll only need a couple of practices before returning from injured reserve. However, due to the Rangers' schedule, Lundqvist won't have an opportunity to practice until Friday, according to the Bergen Record's Andrew Gross. As a result, it's looking dicey that he'll be able to return for either of the Rangers' games Saturday or Sunday, with an activation early next week a more likely scenario. The Rangers have managed just fine in their star netminder's absence, going 15-4-1 behind Cam Talbot and Mackenzie Skapski to climb into first place in the Eastern Conference.
