It was? I thought the OT and shootout were boring as fuck. Nobody really doing anything. Pens were ok in OT but the caps were awful.

all they need is a camera that fits inside the post and have a cut out covered like the board cams the post could protect it
it should be doable they get like billion dollar tv deals your telling me somebody cant figure out a fuckin post cam

you could probably get a company to make and supply them free just by saying something like "samsung the provider of nhl replay cameras" or some shit "replay brought to you by samsung" ect ect
or even have like "samsung" inside the post so when they show a replay you see it lmfao full on sell out mode


yeah for the skill these teams had i was expecting way more dekes attempts in the shootout

i really wonder if the dubois trade will happen during the season or in the off season, if he goes to canada, 14 days quarantine will cause the team getting him to not be able to play him for 8 games and since columbus wants a player to replace him at the center, its going to also cost them 8 games without a top 6 center.

If he gets traded in the usa, which team will pay the price for him, 22 years old 6'3 225 lbs, 5m aav contract for 2 years and a 50-60 points 2 way center who hasnt hit his full potential yet
all the rumors ive heard about the habs and columbus asking price are pretty crazy to the point that i wouldnt trade for him

asking a kk + mete and a 1st round pick/top prospect is just overkill
or suzuki + adds for dubois its too much

i understand that dubois is pretty valuable but the fact that its public that he wants out and how the situation is handled so far
they will have to drop their asking price to move him elsewhere, especially if clb go on a losing streak to start the season


outside of this, i love how my habs are playing this season and the canadian division already looks really good, watched a few games and ive enjoyed the intensity

damn dubois is good and all but personally from what ive seen from those guys they probably end up better or equal players i wouldnt want to pay that
specially since he waited so long so dubois made it public he lost value shoulda traded him before he went public about it

they are asking a king ransom for him currently and we are one of the best trade partner for columbus to trade a center for a center with adds
the other teams that could potentially land dubois are the kings, Rangers, Jets.

I dont feel the need to get dubois with how suzuki plays, kotkaniemi is even better than he was during the playoffs last year (just need toffoli to convert those plays that hes making)
and danault is pretty good too but i dont see the point of having Suzuki, kotkaniemi, dubois when we already have 3 good centers and a good prospect in poehling that could play center if there was a room on the 3rd line.

if we trade for dubois i seriously wonder what we will do and what will be the pieces. He especially asked montreal as his first destination and we are already doing well at the center position

Dubois would make Habs so much better, his style of play suits the system too. Habs were weak down the middle, kk and Suzuki are great, but they're no where near Dubois 2 way game. If they're asking for kk+ mete + b prespect, they shd do it in a heart beat imo. Also weber and Petry are getting old, so bergi probably wants to compete now to next couple years than wait for kk and Suzuki to become better and developed. Dubois is like bergeron/kopitar/ror type of player that helps you win cup

I think cbj just wants to see how their team plays out though, if they know they're gonna be trash, they'll probably trade him during season.
