Exactly me too. I dont understand why you should have to watch 100 different sports just so you can watch the olympics.

What in the flying fuck?

So my parents sold their house earlier this year in April, and just received an email today from the buyers realtor that they may sue my parents for damages, unless they can pay everything and avoid getting the court/lawyers involved.
Apparently, they hired some guy to fix some flooring in the basement, and in the process he found out that there was a black mold on the baseboards of a wall, and he told them that this is due to a major leak.
They're accusing my parents for hiding this information before selling the house to them (my parents lived in the house for 15+ yrs), except my parents didn't know about this "major" leak either, nor the people during open house, and even the current buyer til he hired some guy to rip off some flooring.
Parents also told me that they sold it to this guy for a lil cheaper than other offers because he had way less conditions and didn't want to do any house inspections.

I basically told my parents to get a lawyer and deal with this clown right away.
Should they even bother?

Consult a lawyer at least. I don't think the new home owners have much of a leg to stand on.

Lol he didnt want an inspector?

Is that even legal?

I'm in the process of buying a house, and no way in hell would I do it without it being inspected.

Also, the law states (at least in the US) that the selling cannot willfully hold back information about the house, IF they know it.

If they don't know about it, they can't be held responsible. That is what the inspections are for. Guy got nothing to sue about, unless he can somehow prove that your parents knew and kept the information from him on purpose.
