I think we should definitely keep Allen, either one of the top two should be available, especially since Halak had his little tussle with Hitchcock
Perron lowered his stock with me last year, all his shitty penalties and serious lack of goal scoring
If we could do a package deal for a top scorer, including a draft pick or something I'd love it
I'm excited for what Sunday has to bring, seeing as how we don't need any more draft picks as of right now

thats not true at all, 1 player could be the difference if its the right one

as shown by the first half of last year, we can score goals. we have 2 of the better offensive defensemen in the game and a deep 4 lines.

just need 1 or maybe 2 guys that can score or create for everyone around them. briere/richards/lecavlier come in mind, along with a possible trade


we took the kings to 6 games where they were almost all 1 goal games, and it was the worst first round matchup for us.

if we get through that matchup, i feel good about playing anyone (yes, wings, hawks, or whoever).

the difference in that kings series is 1 player who can finish.

Our main scoring threats right now are Steen, Stewart, sometimes Oshie and sometimes Backes
A 30+ goal scorer is -exactly- what our team needs, our d-men provide quite a bit of scoring. Petro and Shatty were in the top 5 in defensive scoring last season if I remember correctly
Tarasenko and Schwartz had their first full (lockout) season, and their ceilings are pretty fuckin high

I'd say one scorer may not get us to the promised land, but he'll get us a whole fuckin lot closer than we are now

Kings are a better version of Blues. Similar teams

Hawks wiped the floor with Kings. Hawks would have ezd the blues lol

I agree, all we're missing is that one offensively gifted player who can close games for us
