I''m just thankful I lost 3-2 in a seven-round shootout this time. I lost 2-1 in overtime a few games ago.
I came so close to ending this massive losing streak but it just wasn't meant to be and I'm okay with that.

I was watching the Capitals vs. Sabres game on-line via an HD stream.

And I turned it off in overtime when the Caps gave up a soft sticking penalty with 2:41 left in OT.
It was only seconds after the Capitals botched a 2-on-1 fastbreak. They should've won it there!
I figured the Sabres would score a 4-on-3 power play OT winner. I'm shocked it went to a SO.
