have you watched llama play? the guy doesnt seem very good and hes only known due to playing more then other people and having a "holy grail" sorc
dbrunski seems likes hes pretty good i looked at some of his build guides and stuff they are decent and hes not a shitter player
meanwhile i looked at llama video where he rates builds and he put summoner DRUID b tier because "you give oak to other people and people love that"
a summoner druid from what ive seen uses the attack damage spirit but its hard to say not many play that i guess you could use oak but your already weak build just lost half its damage

lets just say i ended the video there lmao
BUT hes got some good info i built my hcl smiter off his "smiter on a budget" video with changes and hes got a good video on mf but he literally just puts out info thats already out there found out by other people intoa more accessible form on youtube

Are you sure that wasn't a video where he was talking about ladder reset builds?

Summon Druid is fine for a ladder reset team even if he does no damage - the life from oak sage + meat shield summons is helpful.

idk maybe pretty sure it was for d2r cause it was newish iirc idk i turned it off after like 2 mins
you can play elemental and have oak and summon dogs as meatshields you dot need to be a summon druid
to me a summon druid is you trying to make summons kill shit i guess if its a fresh ladder rest rolling an oak isnt bad but to me thats not a summon druid but i can see that for certain situations


but still you think telling people to roll an oak druid as a b tier class because "people love that" like telling people to roll support classes as a b tier is iffy for me
cause what if that person wants to play solo? yeah hes got a lot of hp with oak but he cant kill shit and it wont feel very b tier using oak not damage spirit cause he was told to use oak "cause people love that"

Yea I made a wind druid cause I remembered liking them when I played back then. But it was not a good decision in the sense that I'm not able to gear and farm as fast/good as pals or sorc. Second char, if I'm poor: should I make a sorc or a pal? Blizz Sorc seem like cheap options to get the MF rolling...

My druid is 86

try doing cows or ancients tunnels iirc those are good spots for enigma less wind druids
but yeah sorcs are hard to beat it depends what you want to run pretty much all specs can be viable

you could probably do pindle too he rolls ci sometimes but hurrican will kill mobs around him then just nado his ass down
same with eld/shenk they are CI but u could nado them down

could also try boneash hes a weak CI skel magenear the inner cloister wp run from wp into catacombs and hes usually by the altar not super high ilvl or drop rate but hes a unique mob thats always there

I dont have a preference in what to run other than to run stuff and get stuff lol

Sorc are "easy" in the sense of the free Teleport you get instead of spending 5k on enigma (which I obv. cant afford)

blizz is probably the most versatile in ghetto gear and go to for the main mf bosses u dont run into immunes really at andy u can river meph do anc tunnels cows merc kill countess pindle if your merc can 1v1 pindle if he rolls CI
llghtning is pretty good too but u cant river meph its more a straight up face tank with merc but u can do eld/shenk pindle nilathak andy meph countess summoner and if u get infinity like anywhere really
fire has a lot of immunes and chance to proc immunities its strong but can get a bit messy mfing due to immunes like andy is weak to fire but the mobs around her are often FI so if u get surrounded by fallen they can block ur shit lol

plus as a blizz sorc you can glacial spike mobs people dont use this enough it freezes most mobs in the game in place
and it does pretty good damage yeah its no iceblast but its an aoe freeze you can shift+left click at mobs
