How is Drouin in the crease? Really hoping to get a more pressure in front of the net this season. Lehky did fine, but no one crashes the net like the cap.

He's a skill guy, not a crease crasher.

That's quite a fiasco that Alex Galchenyuk has landed himself in.

Also, the wife and I are headed to the first home game. Looking forward to see how Bedard stacks up against our boys and the wife has been looking for a reason to wear her Georgie division rivalry hoodie.

It's whack that he gets it terminated for destruction of property and resisting arrest, but sexually abusing or anything worse is like....well what can we do about that?!

well, turns out Galchenyuk threatened to murder the cop's entire bloodline in very lurid terms, while calling him racist slurs. he made himself the lowest hanging fruit to be plucked.

Just bought my son a Mackinnon jersey for his 6th birthday at the beginning of September, he’ll be stoked. I like the sweater , don’t think I’ve seen these yet

Cmacs recent interview to the athletic put a little light on Landeskog.

- The brutal news came in the form of the team announcing captain Gabriel Landeskog would miss the entire regular season, at the very least, as he finally tries to get right the knee injury that’s kept him out a year already.

“He’s about four months (into his recovery), and he’s doing incredibly well,” MacFarland said. “We miss so much about what he brings, not just in terms of the goals and assists and power play and penalty kill, but just his presence in the room, being one of our emotional-barometer guys.

“He’s going to miss the regular season, and then I wouldn’t bet against Gabriel Landeskog in anything. If there’s somebody that’s going to deal with what he’s dealing with, with the right attitude and determination, it’s him. He’s our Viking.”

So a playoff return, perhaps? Maybe, maybe not.

“We’re hoping,” MacFarland said. “There’s still so much that needs to be gleaned in this so it’s hard to put a timeline on it.”

I honestly didn't think he'd come back after it seemed the first surgery was so botched. I know he's definitely doing everything to come back.

Imagine putting him onto the 3rd line come playoff time, or really any of the top 3 lines.

Drouin has been given a golden opportunity to restart his career.

Hope to see Landy back. Heart and soul guy who was given the captaincy at such a young age.
