are you afraid of looking weak at the gym, lifting lower weights?

you're always supposed to lift a high amount of weight when you do form videos, not easy ones, because your form will turn shittier the more you lift

almost EVERY injury comes from this shit in the gym

person lifts like shit, gets up to "high" weights, decides its enough to look cool, then starts lifting a higher amount with shitty form, but hey, they do get it up! then proceeds to fuck their body up

i mean, this is basically the epitome of broscience, you're too cool to deload and re-learn form at a lower weight becuase you're afraid of losing "gainz"

but as for form, yeah, i'd ask on real forums and not the ones here, or ask the very knowledgeable persons - i know that your form is shit because you basically do it in two motions, putting far too much pressure on the back

e/ if u cant live with good form, you can't lift it at all

well if i really wanted to show off though i would have put 3 plates and did 5 reps

if its not to show off, why are you so afraid to deload and learn proper form?

when i watch people bench at the gym and they bench like 220 and the bar is nowhere near the chest, i laugh inside and think what a bunch of scrubs

if they do 170 properly im more impressed

deadlift is up there along with OHP as one of the more dangerous ones to do wrong

just deload, learn proper form, and add rapidly. you probably have lifted with the correct form but you raised the weights too fast - i had to deload OHP a few times because i didnt realize how terrible my form was

you'll lift A LOT easier and more if you learn proper form (again)

I am saying less weight will make his form better though.

That is is one of the common problems people have if their form is off. They are simply using too much weight to perform the exercise properly.

Clearly he didn't want to hear anything other than a.) Your form is great, wow that's awesome at that weight or b.) Make this tiny change and you're good, wow that's awesome at that weight.

i guess you're right. it just baffles me how easy it is and that i don't even have the proper form, like the difficulty/form ratio
