Eh. Good run here guys.
Maybe with Campbell you guys could have taken it.
I know a lot of Bruins were playing hurt as well.

Sucks losing at home, don't it? :(

Oh well, you guys have your team together for a while it seems and it doesn't seem like there's too many teams out East that scare you.
Should be looking at solid runs for the next few years!

The Campbell injury really messed things up, but at the same time it put Kelly Segs and Piesy together and they played quite well.

But yea, I think too many of out big guys were playing hurt

Jagr didn't play the 2nd, Bergy went to the hospital, Krejci has an amazing run then just stops? seems like an issue maybe just the fact that with the loss of Campbell he had to play PK more, Chara looked tweaked the guy was likely on massive pain meds or something.
Horton with the shoulder issues, one of our keys to success was rolling 4 lines, in the end we had a third line, a 2nd line that was playing injured bergy/jagr, first line that was injured horton and maybe Krejci, 4th line that was completely demolished and non-consequential.
Game 5 Ference, a 3rd pair dman played the most minutes? yea..

no excuses though, winning the cup is a long battle, this year it was just a rough one in the end.

At least it wasn't in game 7. At home. Shut out. Blown out. :P

You'll be back next year. And I think a longer season benefits you guys since more teams will be worn down from the regular season grind and you guys should be getting into the playoffs pretty easily.

Whatever happens, just make sure you keep the Pens down.

Pens aren't really a worry honestly.

Toronto will be if Reimer or Bernier turn out this next season.

They could use a real captain too.

Boston fans shouldn't be too worried, honestly. You've got a star goaltender in Rask that is easily capable of stealing a series for you. Not to mention that crop of forwards that's built for the playoffs, able to frustrate any line of elite forwards in the league. To top it off, most of Boston's key players are young. This is a team that will be able to contend for quite a while.

Pens aren't too far away from being elite.
They have top tier talent in good positions.
One good off season could easily put them as a top flight contender once again.

Toronto just matched up well against you this year.
They're really not as scary as they seem.

Detroit might be a fun match up though!
