Happens. I could complain about how awful pietro has looked this series and how faulk was our best defender, but bad games happen

Myers wouldve been out there for a few of those, and maybe he would've taken enough penalties for the blues to finally get a pp shot on goal

Myers didn't go for 100pims against the blues like he did with the wild lol. He drew 1 and got called for 1. He has his flaws, but he is definitely a far better option in the top 4 role than stecher/benn etc. I've been saying this to those ppl that want myers gone, without him, the Canucks are toast due to lack of depth. Green used myers the most against elite competition this season, ahead of Hughes and Tanev. Considering all that, he definitely played his 6mil worth this season. The problem is when he won't be worth the contract and not eat up the minutes lol

Blues looked better without Steen and tarasenko somehow

Maybe time to slot in gaudette, and I hear Toffoli is close to coming back.
Take out virtanen and macewen? When stecher is more physical than those 2, something is wrong.

I feel bad for stecher, he's clearly working his ass off but he was far better in the 3rd pairing role than top 4.

MacEwen was awful tonight, lots of blown coverages (including on the Faulk goal) and couldn't handle the puck for shit. The kinda player you wish sat out more often than not, only plugging in here and there for some energy.

Virtanen played OK tonight but on average he's been bad. Not even being physical because he's usually behind the play. I'd defo sit those two out if we can get TT and Gaudette back on.

Steen is playing injured and tarasenko has zero confidence coming off shoulder surgery.

I wonder if we'll see either tomorrow

God damn the momentum of the moment is significantly hampered in these playoffs.

That gentle sound of the sticks tapping on the ice following the anthem is so fucking unnerving.

Good thing the blues arrogantly decided to non-chelantly fuck around during the round robin games. Why give yourselves an easier opponent like Chicago or Arizona when "you have to beat everyone anyway" and "its a marathon, we don't want to go too hard to early".

Apparently they thought beating the nucks would be easy and they'd just walk into the next round the same as if they played a weaker opponent.

Problem is, it's not a marathon, its 4 sprints, and you have to win the first race to get to the next.

If i wasn't a blues fan I'd root against em for coming off as assholes lol
