Wouldn't be the first time a team change has revitalized a goalie. I'd give it a chance.

That's not overpay at all great trade by the blues. They get an elite goalie to make a cup run and swap their goalie with a first? Are you serious how is that overpay. For a prospect that's not even one of their best. And ott for Stewart they are both irrelevant. If miller doesn't resign yes it sucks but then Allen steps in as the future and their team is still loaded. They lose nothing IMO with this trade that hurts them long term, and gives them a great shot to win now.

The Wings have expressed interest in Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Kesler and defenseman Alexander Edler, a league source told TFP on Friday.

Kesler, 29, has two-years left on his contract beyond this season, at $5 million per season, and owns a no-trade clause.
Edler, 27, has five-years remaining on his contract after this season, also at $5 million per year, and also owns a no-trade clause

Ales Hemsky is excited to be moving on, as the Edmonton Oilers winger knows he's going to be dealt before the March 5 trade deadline.
Oilers GM Craig MacTavish assured Hemsky that he'll be moved in the coming days, which has the veteran itching to find out where he'll end up.

"I know it will happen, and I'm ready for it," Hemsky told reporters on Friday. "I'm excited."
Several teams have expressed an interest in Hemsky, including the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets and Tampa Bay Lightning

Surprised we haven't heard more surrounding edmonton. MacTavish said he will "be in all conversations" and they have Hemsky and Gagner that always come up in rumors.

Barch and Weaver scratched. Could be foreshadowing of Weaver getting traded #FlaPanthers
