yeah and they signed him hella fast that could be just cuz hextall but flyers never sign drafted players that fast
morin could be bad at penalties but hes also good at pk which we need with how bad it was last season

besides we went from the most pims in the nhl to like middle of the pack and we traded rinaldo this offseason
we can take the extra pims ^^

That is horrible thinking though. We cannot take extra PIM. We rarely ever want PIM. If anything less is good. And PK won't matter for him if he is in the box for the PK.

pims is nothing if your pk can actually kill penalties
which ours couldnt even with mason ...
and think of all the pims the 17 other players could get that he could be out there killing off

But you are praising his PK when it could be him in the box. So what help would that be rather than waiting ONE season and letting him work it out for the future?

I'm gonna post what I said to Jeremy on facebook.

Maybe drago wants more PIMs, cuz that's the only box he is ever going to see...

You have no regards for player development, do you? We could literally let him fix 1 part of his game and improve him 30 fold, but instead you want to move him up and let him spend needless time in the penalty box that he could be on the ice making a difference and improving our team for the next 5-10 years

hes really not even that bad for pims and half his pims are prob fights not actual penalties
if you take out the fights odds are his pims are reasonable and the positive he brings to the team is much higher then the negative

hes been developing shit he prob shoulda been on the roster last season he had a great year of development in the jrs
you really think hes going to get better pims in the ahl? hes huge goons are going to go after him and hes going to fight them becasue its what he does

i dont think ti matters where he is hes likely in the ahl simply because we dont have roster space for anybody and if we do provorov prob takes it

Yes I do think he can actually develop. You know last year he didnt develop because HE WAS INJURED. Or did you not realize that?

You know what they do in the AHL? Work on positioning and technique. That is exactly what they do. Completely. And if you look at his penalties, which I am sure you didn't, they were him getting beat or getting caught out of position because the difference in speed at the pro level and then having to respond. It will happen worse at a NHL level, which is something Hextall understands. This is something that the coaches can work through and show him how to position himself and use his size to his advantage.
