im surprised they dont have more cameras deeper in the net for shit like that like post cams that show the goal line or back corner cams looking up to see plays like if it hit the bar or not ect ect
relying on a board camera looking through the net... that just seems bad for this day and age
they got all these replays but they are from far away and weird ass angles they gotta step their game up

i thought about that but something as simple as snow or skate scratches in the ice would probably fuck up the view
really they should just put a tracker in the puck edges and sensors in the goal line ice and if it goes over the sensor goes off or something

Yeah it would never work, but it would be wild if they could figure it out. Certainly having cams inside the goal posts would be nice, but idk how that would work because it would have to be sturdy enough to not get knocked around and also small enough to fit inside the post.
