I would never want to take a hit like that. RzI is right to point out what happened to Marchessault neck.
Either way, the hit was late - and with intent to injure.
Concussion protocol only takes a couple minutes to run through in the darkroom -- would expect March to return quickly after being medically cleared.
I think your opinion might be a little bit biased considering your fandom ;)
It's honestly a product of the refs "letting them play". I've seen it in Beer League and the same holds true in the NHL, if you let players get away with stuff eventually the frustration adds up and you start to get blatant interference, slashing, etc penalties. The referees are out there to de-escalate situations not increase frustrations because of a lack of calls.
I'm not saying the hit wasnt late and a bit greasy but frankly it could have been prevented in my eyes.

Hey, im just sayin if they gonna allow a blatant cross-check to occur which lead to a game-changing goal then they should let them play hockey.
I know how Wilson plays, he's a rough player and he does whatever it takes to get in the other guys head -- including making hits like this.
Has anything happened with Perron yet?
Perron wont be suspended, he didnt leave the bench to join a scrum. It looks like he jumped on to check on March but ran into Ovi, either way it wasnt with the intent to start a fight.
