It depends on your ecosystem. They have different pokemon for places they identify as wharfs, marshes, cemetaries, etc. It's really bad, I thought they patched it out with the protests about the holocaust museum and such but I caught a ghastly on the train home at Arlington National Cemetary lol.
IDK why there was a Jynx at the baseball park half a mile from my apartment though.

Someone identified the 15 or so different areas they group pokemon in by looking at the code. Also once you level up a bit you find non-rattatas and pidgeys.

Haven't found a Snorlax yet... I wish i was catching 50 pidgeys, its all zubats around me but they take 50 to evolve. Where as pidegys only take 12, the xp bonus when you have an egg active is unreal if you are evolving like 10 pidgeys lol.

Catch a bunch of Weedles and Pidgeys
Use a lure module at a pokestop
Use incense at the same time
Use lucky egg at the same time
Catch all the pokemon
Evolve all the pokemon
= Mass XP

I've caught about 25 growliths at my work since Wednesday lol. And about 20 mankeys. Other than that. Nothing

Pretty amazing. I've not seen either of those pokemons, and I'm lvl 21.

Servers are apparently down right now :\ how the fuck will I walk the dog without anything to distract me from nature?!
