I was doing well for a while but I got on some stress meds and between work and school gained about 25 in the last 2 months. The only weight loss to post about is my bank account lol.
I did a reboot of mt refrigerator and my new office has a gym I'm gonna use during my lunch break which I never take because I usually work through it and eat while working. Plus there are no good restaurants so there's no reason to not make my own food rather than eat spaghetti with a pound of butter.

So we'll see. My brother's wedding is in august so I have it in my goals spreadsheet to drop back down to 180, or 170 if I've lost muscle mass as well.

If anyone cares I have been sticking to my new years resolution pretty well.

Lost ~ 5-6 pounds in these first 2 weeks. Feeling much better.

Instead of going to the gym I have taken up running everyday. Starting to get addicted to it. I figure I am overweight, not a pinner, Strength has never been a problem for me as I naturally have a heavier build.

So I decided to work on my weakness first, which is endurance.

The first day I went running I ran about 1/2 KM and was completely gassed and feeling sick. It was an awful feeling and I wanted to quit. But I kept trying. Everyday I went a little further, and felt a little less sick/gassed.

Amazingly after just two weeks I ran 5.5km straight today. Furthermore I do not feel tired or sick. Instead of feeling terrible after running now I feel amazing.

For anyone who wants to achieve fitness goals, just gut it out the first week, it starts getting easier I promise. Best decision I ever made.

I have stuck to it as well!

Doing the 5x5 routine as posted by Raynor. Dirtyman did it as well with some success. Building up some strength then going for the lean muscle over time. My strength hasnt really jumped up yet but im still working at it.
5 days a week I have been doing the P90x ab routine after each workout since May. Thats going great!
I run a few miles every couple of days but im still not where Id like to be with cardio. Its hard to try and accomplish it all at the same time lol.

Keep it up guys! Great stuff!

Losing motivation, results not coming as fast as I'd like, so I'm losing motivation, resulting in me unhappy about results not going as fast as I'd like, which leads to less motivation, etc.

I'm always pumped the first few months, then it's becoming a chores. Especially when you don't have the metabolism to gain mass, gym gets rough on you. You see everyone gaining weight and you're just getting fit, slightly cutting.
