Should be eating around g/lb of protein

what are you basing that on?

all actual science (done at universities etc) that i've looked into says that there's no extra benefits of eating above 1.2g/kg or 0.6/lb

I'm basing this on every fitness / strength / bodybuilding coach on the planet . You know the ones who have played with their diets to see what works the best and 1-1.5 grams of protein is the general consensus

and people believed earth was flat for so long because everyone told them it was, whats your point?

http://www.uscupstate.edu/uploadedFiles/Student_Affairs/Health_Promotion_and_Education/Protein%20IV.pdf

heres an example saying that calories>protein when you're supposed to gain lean weight (to give some light on why 1500 calories is shit)

same article also shows that protein intake above 1.7g/lean kg simply oxidates

http://jap.physiology.org/content/64/1/187

indicates that 1.0x g protein/kg is enough for ELITE bodybuilders to maintain their muscle mass

its a lot more than protein

how many calories do you eat when you eat less than 1g/lb?

calories>protein for muscles, as the links i provided states

hitting a plateau and then eating more protein and getting past it doesnt mean its better, science says that excessive protein intake oxidates, but yeah, i guess you're unique

we got a saying in swedish that would literally translate to that the exception validates the rule - there's probably an english version of it - and you might be that one, i don't oppose it, just saiyng that the protein intake you say that you should have is, according to science, bullshit

99% of broscience is placebo
