If hockey does resume I do feel there will be less validity to a cup being awarded.

To me the Stanley cup is the toughest trophy to win in team sports because of the long grind involved.

- 82 game regular season
- up to 28 games in the playoffs

A lot of the grind has been taken away with the format so I do see a decline in the prestige of winning this year so my feelings are mixed.

Sadly this might be the best chance to win the cup for lolnucks while Hughes and Petey are still on elc. Cuz when they're paid, the Canucks are gonna have weaker depth due to all the anchor contracts. If the Canucks spent so much cap on 3rd/4th line, you'd expect them to blow other teams 3rd/4th line out of the water but damn... Lol

there is just so many variables and things that can happen its bound to be an asterisk but if all goes well i can see there not being one but its a very low chance
like the camp is short and not as good as preseason camps where players often come out looking not 100% so the quality of the hockey might be meh
you might have a star player in "early season slump" or even get corona and miss the playoffs entirely eliminating a top team which instantly puts an asterisk
some teams are really good at home with fans vs away and now there forced to play in "hub cities" with no fans which is an advantage to teams that have no/shit fans there used to empty quiet arenas
peoples everyday lives and routines have changed which could effect their mindset for the game maybe that power forward known for his big hits and phyiscal game shys away from it more just incase that other player has corona
shit what if a player refuses to play? somebody gets hurt and get it from the dr? so many things...
