it sounded like hakstol wants to use couts more offensively now this deal i like hextall more and more
coming off a career high under berube using him in a defensive only role his offense should be able to take a jump
and 3g4a in 10gp in the WC for canada he looked pretty good and has shown he can put up some points

plus he is only 22 still lots of time to improve even more if he takes a huge jump this contract is going to be a steal
worst is he is what he is and thats still not even that bad he shuts down top players and with the way contracts are going it will be cheap

What were the numbers on the deal? He frustrates me so much and last year I thought his defense took a step back. Hopefully he makes stronger progress with the new coach.

I wonder what they are going to do with Brayden. I would just leave him where he is and he would be a good trade chip at the deadline if we are out of contention.

Flyers 2015 fifth-round pick David Kase will be part of the Czech roster for the WJC Showcase. Kase was the captain of the Czech Under-18 team last year and also suited up with the Under-20 team at the World Juniors

get to see some future flyers play mid summer ^^

* Flyers 2014 sixth-round pick Radel Fazleev was originally part of the Russian roster for the WJC Showcase but had to step aside due to an undisclosed injury. yeah im happy to see konecny there we traded up for him they obviously feel hes something special and watchig highlgihts from 2 seasons ago hes pretty skilled
last skilled centerman they drafted around that area was giroux so

i wanna see sanheim too after watching this seasons highlights vid... this kids got mad offensive skill
i wanna see his defensive game more though because i already know his offense is legit hes producing more then top scoring d men in the nhl did in jrs

if hes defensive side is good this kids looking like the real deal and with morin hagg ghost and now provorov... damn this d core is going to be mad sexy

even that kase guy watched some highlights of him in the WJC or something and for a 5th round pick he seems like hes got potential

Sweden beated USA yesterday 5-2 Sandstrom the win. they play again

Russian wont have any of their top players in this tournament. And Canada's team is split in two A and B

I'll watch a bit tonight but won't put much judgement on any player tonight

oh nice i was trying to find that out but didnt know where ..where u get it?
kinda hoping one of the euro goalies in sandstrom or tomec become one of those steller WJC goalies philly never has those in the system lol
gotta say though hextall has seriously turned around our prospect pool our defense has mad potential and with stolarz sandstrom and tomec our goalie pool has potential as well
we have kind of meh forwards but adding konecny kase and prob a bunch next season our pool will be fairly solid all around

other then the hartsy trade i feel like everything hextall has done has been a great moves even gagner who knows maybe with some actual good players he can be a legit player
if not we dump cap and had a 1 season try out maybe some deadline trade bait for extra picks even

hextalls got me fuckin excited haha new coach very different team and the moves that needed to be made were made like finally getting rid of rinaldo but for a 3rd on top of that!
