meh guess it depends your source.
but when its legal im sure your average joe will be having quality stuff that is in stores aswell.
there are alot of people that have dispensary quality or alot of the times better for a hell of alot cheaper.
alot of legal operations use chemicals that really arent good for you but give them better yields etc.(forget the name of what they use but could prob find it)
Like i said. I gladly pay a premium for 3rd party lab test transparency. 9/10 average joes dont even know what they are selling. The whole street game is ran on prices and availibilty. The same cant be said about organized operations who have been fighting for leagization and licensing for many years.
It should be noted that THC levels don't always indicate what will make you the most high. In recent studies, they're finding out that the, CBD, CBN, CBC levels as well as the terpene levels and how they all together in concert is more indicative of how strong a strain is.
Terpenes are the natural oils that exist in Cannabis that give it its smell/flavour and contribute greatly to the effects. Noting beta-caryophyllene smells like pepper or cloves and can be calming, linalool smells floral and spicy and is very relaxing and sleep inducing, pinene smells like (surprise) pine and is good for mental acuity and alertness etc..
Theres a lot at play when growing these strains, a real marijuana enthusiast most likely takes the time to identify and know what hes buying.
