i mean its a shitty chat box its not THAT big of a deal but it is seriously crappy and need to be fixed imo
tbh im enjoying d2 though i always liked d2 the way it plays how you play the game hd graphics

i just wish they didnt try to modernize some things because it turned out much worse then it was before imo
but im sure some people love the chat box its familiar to them from other blizzard games and maybe games in general

thats why i wish there was an option to go to old version chat for somebody like me who doesnt like the box
or at least make a functional friends list in game 99% of people run auto party why not add a friends/party tab in the party menu? copy pasta the UI from party tab as a friends tab but replace invite with join/whisper easy peasy


it feesl like they took out the chat and flist from original d2 and broke it cause they did and using that to play with friend was a big part of what made d2 fun for me but its not completely game breaking like i said im still having fun

and then i get in and cant make or join a game, or even use the quick play launcher

buddy of mine loves it, plays it over pc. just switched items over to sell
