No kidding.

I'm not the biggest Brouwer fan but he was able to keep the term down to 4 years. Just another great move by Treliving.

B)

Hamhuis to the Stars is painful to watch. That was the deadline deal before something weird happened in Van and Russell went to the Stars. They pay for Russell, don't like him, then get Hamhuis for free off Van. lol ouch for both teams...

I don't think it really matters to them. They paid for a D-man and still have one, even if it's a different one (and he's better anyway).

We're the ones that got fucked in the ass lol.

yup, i think benning offered him 3mil or less contract to play 3rd pairing with tryamkin, maybe occasionally 2nd in case hutton turns out to have sophomore jinx jajaja or injures.
hamhuis said he wants to go to a team that values him and still has a lot of top 4 D left in him and wants to be paid like one.
so ill assume benning & co. moved on to a different direction :bonk:

i think having hamhuis would've solidified lolnucks defense far more, but oh well :(
hope he wins a cup soon like mitchell did

Russell looked good for a second and appeared to be what was needed on the Dallas blueline at the time of aquisition, but he disappointed, now we get a free upgrade, nothing to cringe over really.

Well ya, more for Van. But for the Stars its nothing big, they're just getting a full do-over on that trade. Either way, kind of funny.

Naw, you can have him. He's a good soldier, but for a 6'5 guy he plays soft and doesn't hit like you think he would. He's a shootout beauty though.

Nice. Not very many back to backs either.

Brayden Burke will be at our development camp this week, undrafted, smaller guy. 109 points, 3rd in the WHL. Tied for second in assists. 5'10, 160 though, 19. Could be an really good signing.
