Going to be nothing left on deadline day

A writer from the Athletic that broke some of the trades today is saying JT Miller might be scratched tomorrow

His name has been popping up a lot over the past few weeks after it seemed like nobody would want his new contract with how bad he was in the first half of the year.

He's still on his old deal that does not have an NTC, his 7 x 8M extension kicks in after this year.

I'm gonna guess it's Carolina though. They wanted to talk to Miller for an extension but canucks didn't allow it. Now that he's signed, there's cost certainty and is locked up with term like Carolina has been looking for. All the teams on east are adding and Carolina couldn't do shit. They need help scoring and also need help on the powerplay. Miller would be ideal for them. He's 14th best scoring forward in the past 4 yrs in the league, still a good player for contending teams like Carolina. Just doesn't make sense for the Canucks where they're at now. I hope something happens but I doubt it. Shayna only reports facts doesn't make up shit for clickbait or the whole insider crap. So I'm sure there has been a lot of discussions about Miller.
