I really think all the IR spots should be IR+. Yahoo really should do away with the general IR spot. When players go on covid list they are marked with a O, and there are tons of other statuses they get used instead of IR. Just my thought here but I think it will help manage the rosters better.

Also think there should be like 5 IR+ spots. You already get penalized when your players get injured, I don't see why you should have to make the decision to drop them or hang onto them but have less healthy players available. You don't see NHL teams cuting players because they already have 2 injured.. Never made sense to me why there's a maximum IR spots.

The amount is simply so you can't benefit from stacking eichel Malkin, Crosby etc from waiver wire or whatever (if ever the chance) and also keep your current team.

I don't mind changing it to all IR+ though. That's a fair point. Yahoo is not good about keeping those up to date or even accurate vlike you said

Why shouldn't you able to stack Eichel, Malkin and Crosby though? It's the same rule for everyone, if you want to waste your top picks on inured players then so be it imo. Also, there wouldn't be good injured players on waivers since there would be enough IR spots. It's too late to change now and I don't really mind, it's just something that never made sense to me.

But yeah I vote for all IR+. Sometimes you can get really screwed when a team refuse to put their player on IR even though they miss a bunch of time.
