Linesman cannot call penalties, only majors. So because Wilson remained in the game and was given 2 minutes it makes even less sense IMO. I thought on the broadcast they said that Wilson got 2 for roughing after the whistle though which would make sense, maybe I misheard?

I just hope the reffing overall is better next game. The Reaves goal was ridiculous and shouldnt have counted, I understand putting the whistles away and letting them play but that's a play that has to be called. The game started to get dirty (Wilson hit) after they very clearly werent going to call penalties... you cant do that. The reffing this playoffs has been a mismash of "Put the whistles away" and "call phantom hooking/slash penalties". Crosschecks? NP boys

Yeah that wasn't a dirty hit, just a late interference that looked rough.
Either way, that cross-check right into a the Reaves goal was some bullshit.

they're allowed to tell refs what they saw and the ref chooses

yeah i hate it when refs use their bias for missing shit, to "make up" for it. That's not even their fucking job. I wish they were more objective but that's impossible in this league. Bring em droids to ref in 2030 plz!!

wasn't that hard of a hit imo, he embellished it a little bit. he bounced right back up after being on the ground for 30 secs then came back out after going down the tunnel pretty quickly.
perron's move was a game misconduct and a major penalty 10/10 times in the regular season.

either way, wilson won't be suspended.
perron should be though.

It was an assault with nothing but intent to injure. Nothing else achieved. Blindside hits are the most dangerous. Look what happened to his neck on impact
