He participated in contact drills today

They should maybe wait til game 3.

If Hawks win the first 2 or even if it's 1-1, it's not an urgent situation and Kane can wait some more. If Hawks are down 2-0, it's still early enough to come back, especially with Kane giving them a big boost for game 3.

Hawks have won the majority of their games against Nashville, however Hawks lost their last 4 games of the season, they surely want a boost.
And it's the playoffs, every game matters. If Kane is questionable for Game 1. I would be shocked if he doesnt start by Game 2 to be honest.

Kane just started wearing full contact gear today, didn't he? I can't imagine they'll have him start game one. Let them play 1-2 without him and if they look like they're being outplayed put him in.

Really depends on the risk. You don't want to sit Kane if he can play and risk falling behind in the series. If his bone is strong and can take contact then play him imo

But if 1 solid hit can break it again then forget it

I agree. There is no need to bring him back for game 1.
I'd rather the Hawks play a couple without him and only have him come back if the Hawks are struggling offensively. Which we have been since his injury.
I think Hawks were around 2.6 goals per game with, and just over (or under) 2 goals per game without.

Kane back for game 1 is making me rather nervous.

I guess I'm comparing him to Derrick Rose though
