ya id guess id be pretty happy too if my team was clinging to that 7th seed. good thing you have all those feeders teams in the southeast to help secure that stellar playoff position.

if you didn't have access to the internet i'd ask you some questions because im 99% sure you're a bandwagon fan like all pens fans

1 bad year due to injuries. Not like Crosby has not dealt with injuries. so I am not sure where you are going with this. and Malkin and crosby are both 8.7 mil hits. Tell me who has missed more games? Malkin is more than worth his cap hit.

Malkin has historically played better without crosby, recent games aside. They were saying he's like a 1.4 ppg player when Crosby isn't on the ice.

ya man he is a beast. When Crosby has been hurt Malkin has carried the team on his shoulders. He deserves alot of credit for ensuring the Penguins were in a good playoff position before Crosby returned at the tail end of the season.

which is false. malkin streaks like no other, and when he slumps, he makes ovechkins current season look salvageable. im glad malkins current success is finally getting him some well deserved attention, but hes not at crosbys level.

bandwagon fans are few in far between in pittsburgh (pnc park is living proof of that), if you lived here, you'd know that. still have my back to back hat and 93' streak shirt in the closet.

malkins best year was when crosby was healthy... healthy crosby means malkin gets the secondary defensive unit, dont know where you pulled those numbers from.

Tv broadcast which is why I said "they were saying." it's been contended fairly often that he excels when Crosby is gone.
Quick google search on my phone says Malkin is a 1.47 PPG player without Crosby and 1.14 PPG player with him.
