Also have 2% in recurent bills and 1% on everything lol
yeah but a good chunk of cashback comes from 4% gas/groceries, if you don't spend much on both of those 2 stuff ur better off with 2% everything. However if you do spend a lot on gas/groceries you're better off with scotia.
For example, let's say the credit card spending for the month is 2k in total.
now in my case, i don't spend much on gas but i spend shit ton in restaurants: scotia's = $60 (2.4), $400 (16), $250 bills (5), $1290 (12.9) on everything else will get me $36.3 back.
if i did drive often and spent a lot on gas: = $300 on gas 4%(12), $400 on groceries 4% (16), $250 bills 2% (5), $1050 on everything else 1%(10.5) will get me $43.5 back.
mbna's 2% cashback on everything will get me $40 back no matter what catagory i spend on
Also annual fee from momentum infinite is $99, whereas mbna is $89. So i "save" another $10 from that.
This just a vague example, but you should get the idea. Everyone's situation is different, and their spending will vary.
Luler should look at his current credit card statements and figure out roughly how much gas/groceries he's been paying a month, bills, and all other rando things he buys from murica websites.
Then compare which card will get him the most cash back
