He's already been a huge part of the team. Takes some duties off Sakic as he's getting older, there were multiple teams wanting to interview him for gm. Only makes sense he steps in, also Sakic is still there and most everything will run through him. Nice time for him to step away and not be the guy who screws up the MacKinnon contract situation :lol:

I dunno. Deep down I think he wants to stay here. But obviously gonna test market to try n leverage Holland.
Dudes been in edmonton since season ended and was just ar the brick tournament taking photos and signing graphs for the kids. Sooo who knows
