Oh yea me too. Summer will be long.. Im hoping for good news about the coach. If we can contest a wildcard spot for next season that would be great.

Btw, i really hope we draft Pavel Zacha with our pick unless Hanafin drops down to 7. Hes a monster, can play LW and hes just dominant

after that draft whatever with our 2 2nds and 2 3rds stock up the pool
maybe even another goalie if thers a decent 1 in the 3rd or something stolarz looks promising but just incase ^^

NN goalie. Sign a FA backup and let Stolarz/zepp in the AHL

I really dont care if they pick a center in the first round but hopefully not 2 centers. We have other needs. I hope that they go with talent instead of size in other rounds so we can try to hit a homerun instead of getting a future 4th liner (goulbourne)

if we grab a center in the 1st i want a center+wing
we can stock up on d with the later rounds hagg was a 2nd rounder and ghost was a 3rd you can land decent d men still
+ with manning looking like he can make the jump to the nhl next season and his new contract that gives us another mid aged d man and we already got some pretty solid d prospects

i have a feeling we might even see zepp as our back up next season so stolarz can become the ahl #1 instead of back up
i wouldnt really be against it although id like a really good back case masons knee starts acting up but zepp looked half decent... better then emery
and when mason was down zepp was the #1 over emery and we were winning some games with him the guys 5-2 in 10 gp crap sv% and gaa but he didnt seem that bad

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed 6-3, 210 lb defenseman Christian Marti to an entry-level contract, according to general manager Ron Hextall.

Marti, 22 (3/29/1993), is a native of Switzerland, where he has played three of the last four seasons in the Swiss National League.

For the past two years, he has skated for Genève-Servette HC, where he has played with several former NHL players including Matt D’Agostini, Paul Ranger and Taylor Pyatt. Over those two seasons, he has recorded five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 82 games, along with a plus-14 rating.

Marti spent the 2012-13 season with Blainville-Boisbriand in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, where he recorded 14 points (5G, 9A) in 46 games and registered a plus-25 rating. He spent that season playing with center Danick Martel, who signed an entry-level contract with the Flyers on March 10.
