yesterday was rough for the refs. i agree the call on marchand was light (i bet they went to both teams pre game and told em no bullshit with goalies cuz the blues didnt try anything there), the missed high hit on barbashev shouldve been called and the missed trip too.
but i still stand by the fact that it was even otherwise. the refs were mostly consistent with "if it isnt the most obvious thing ever we arent calling it", and just getting consistency out of refs is usually enough.
look, the bruins won game one by essentially one goal after you take away the empty netter, and one goal they scored was with 6men on the PP. not alot of guys by the bench, actually 6 guys skating around. refs miss shit. its happened all playoffs.
the trip was missed. the first 3 games they reffed extra tight and it benefited the bruins, the last 3 they didnt call shit on either team and it benefited the blues.
for the most part, it seems fairly even in that regard.4
blame the refs yesterday, but dont act like every win the blues have is on the refs lol. that looks petty. everyone thought the blues would get blown out of the water and here we are 1 game from the cup
def never would say every win is because refs. Infact the accari blown call is the equivalent of the hand pass blown call you guys got screwed by.
And the bruins won’t win many games scoring 0 or 1 goal so that’s on us. But you cannot NOT call that clear slewfoot and game 5 was pretty egregious 2 headshots prior
